Landscape Drawing on Zoom | Trees, flora and fauna
Drawing on Zoom sessions are 90 minutes, once per month on a Tuesday evening 7-8.30pm UK time. Sessions include an introduction and sometimes a short demonstration about a particular topic followed by some shorter, warm up exercises and some longer, more focussed exercises. These sessions are recorded and if you book the live session you will receive the recording the following day or if you miss the live session you can purchase the recording afterwards. We usually switch off the recording at the end of live sessions and have a Q&A session and general chat and anyone who wishes to can share their work. All levels are welcome! Zoom link and other useful information will be sent out 24 hours before the live session.
For this session on Tress, flora and fauna I would recommend working on paper with any wet or dry media you have. I will be providing images for us to work from but you may wish to choose a range of images of trees, flowers, plants or anything else along those lines so that you can get the most out of our time drawing. There will be a discussion and presentation about how trees and plants contribute to composition, texture, colour and shape in the landscape. There is no need to buy any materials for this session, whatever you have to hand is fine. See you then!
