Frequently Asked Questions
How much is shipping?
The price of postage is indicated in the painting description or given automatically at checkout. Postage is always available within the UK and to many countries outside of the UK. If your country does not appear at checkout please contact me for an exact quote. For international quotes on shipping please contact me here. Paintings will be sent out subject to correct postage applied.
Do you do commissions?
Yes, I have a limited number of spaces each year for commissions. If you decide to commission an artwork, usually a deposit is required, which will be deducted from the final sale price. Prices and exact conditions depend on size and scope of the commission. Send me a message here if you think you might be interested in commissioning an artwork.
Are paintings framed?
Most paintings on wood and canvas are sold framed and ready to hang unless otherwise specified. The price of the painting is the same whether framed or not. The frame is intended as a convenience to customers and frames can be removed and replaced if the customer wishes. For larger paintings or international shipments paintings can be sent without a frame and customers may choose to source a frame locally to keep transport costs lower. Information on framing can be found listed within the painting details. Please contact me here if you have any questions about framing.
What materials do you use?
I use high quality professional artist materials to ensure paintings stand the test of time and works on canvases and wood panels are varnished for UV protection.
What about customs and taxes?
Buyers are responsible for all customs and taxes in their own country. Please do check the rules in your country before placing an order. Unfortunately purchases cannot be returned or refunded on the basis of unexpected customs charges.
Can I return a painting?
My art is a labour of love and I want all buyers to be delighted with every purchase but if there is an issue with your order please send me a message on the contact section of the website within 7 days of receipt. If a return is agreed, you will be required to wrap and ship the painting using the same service with which it was sent to you and you will receive your refund payment within 14 days. I do reserve the right to refuse returns but I will always endeavour to find a mutually agreeable solution. Returns and refunds are not currently possible on artworks sent outside of the UK.
All paintings are wrapped with the utmost care and but in the unlikely event of damage to the painting upon receipt, please contact me within 7 days with photographs so we can discuss the situation on an individual basis.
