Will Morrison and Dean Fox

These two artists seem to embody something I have always wanted in my work. The warmth of colours is interesting, given I am so drawn to cool colours. The painterly quality of oils in both and the nostalgia and confusion are things I would love to work towards. I saw two of the large Fox paintings at a Cork Street gallery when in London for the Low Res in Year 1 and it was the first time in years a painting has brought hot tears to my eyes. The depth and layers are so endlessly beautiful.
