The Artist Wall at The Parade Cinema

I have had nine paintings showing on the Artist Wall at The Parade in Marlborough - small, independent cinema and culture centre. The works looked great on the walls and footfall is around 10,000 a month so lots of people seeing my work. No sales, but I hadn’t particularly expected any sales, people rarely go to the cinema and come home with an original artwork. Lots of useful discussions and I did a ‘Meet the Artist’ on Sunday 23rd March, which was really enjoyable. It coincided with a screening of Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Ballet so the audience was somewhat senior but very engaged in original art. Owner of the Parade and my studio Landlord, Robert, advised me to say yes to everything for the first ten years of my career so I am heeding his words.
