Week Forty One | Aubade

A slow start here - I have six shows this year and I need to pull my finger out. Bringing together painting and my learning over the MA has been slow but good, I am reluctant to rush it but I also need to think about what to paint in order to participate in these shows I have spent so long building up to.

First up is the Pastel Society, which is done and dusted but then Vanner in March so I have to find my focus. I have been pushing along these soft pieces left over from before Christmas but I am not sure yet what they will become. My key learning has been shifting from the idea of landscape, which is still lingering in some of these. I am ready to let go of them now.
