The Patience of Stones #wip

Sarsen is a type of Sandstone found throughout the South West of England and best known for the Stonehenge and Avebury stone formations. They are everywhere where I live and they seem to whisper tales of ancient things. The petrology of these stones is not entirely understood (definitely not by me but even by those in the rock know) but they are considered to be composed of interlocking quartz and are near indestructible.

I have written about Sarsen previously and used them for frottage as a starting point for understanding the ecology that surrounds me.
