Paper Lace Drawings

Returning to the idea of paper as medium as well as substrate I used up a batch of paper that has been soaking for months and went a bit stinky… I rinsed it out and had another go with it and it’s a lovely pale grey. I am wondering about staining or painting the paper and wondering how to adhere the lacy strips to a substrate as I love the shadows. Lots of potential and easier to do than the casting, which was exhausting and took forever to dry. I like how the photos look like bamboo or Chinese scroll painting, maybe.
