Deborah Tarr, Painter

Love this work, never seen in real life. I love the quiet ones. I don’t know why I judge the landscape in my own work so incredibly harshly when I love this work and the painterly skill of huge paintings on the edge of landscape and abstraction. I am particularly drawn to Deborah Tarr’s work for its restraint and stillness but also great depth. I have returned to her work time and again and there is an exhibition of her work at Cadogan in London, which I will try to see - https://cadogangallery.com/artist/deborah-tarr/
