A Grief Most Pink

I have long wanted to make a colour spectrum of grief as I see it and I imagine indigo, white and pink would be the colours most relevant to me. I imagine association with all sorts of colours and combinations, such as bordeaux on its own not so much but next to grey becomes something melancholic for me. I had a go at painting these paper discs with fungi in mind, all those beautiful pinks - salmon, coral, venetian pink and so many others in all the exotic fungi types. I am still mostly playing in the sandbox with this but I do like the paper works that are emerging. The indigo ones will always resonate the most but the pink is awkward, difficult and a bit downward, although I imagine to many these pinks are joyful and upward.
